Join this epic gathering as Bundu Rovers Club joins the rest of the Global Land Rover fraternity in celebrating the most iconic 4x4 vehicle on the planet, Land Rover Defender in the first ever International Land Rover Day! 

Happening on Sunday 2nd August 2015 with a gathering, convoy drive and assembly of all types of Land Rover - Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Freelander and Evoque in Nairobi, Kenya, we will we celebrate  Land Rover and especially the Defender as we best know how, putting it through its paces, swapping stories over some bbq, koroga and drinks in the classic 4x4 setting of the African bush.  

The Event kicks off with convoy drive starting from Shell Karen Petrol Station through Lavington, Westlands into the CBD and then down to Mombasa Road headed to Swara Plains (Acacia Camp) just after Daystar University in Athi River.  Pick the meeting point nearest to you and be there at 8.30am to get into this historic convoy. 


Event fee is Kshs 1,500 per vehicle for those who sign up online and before August 2nd, Kshs 2,000 on the day.  Activities at the venue include the LR Photoshoot, Offroad course drives, Open bonnet - check and see what owners have done with their Land Rovers, Car boot sale for those with surplus stocks, Fishing and Game drives in the Swara Plains ranch, Lots of story swapping and networking in a casual and fun atmosphere.  Its a BYOF&B (Bring Your Own Food and Drinks) affair, for those into BBQ and Koroga there's lots of space to do your thing and for those who want it easy there's an a-la-carte menu at Acacia Ranch or simply bring along a meal pack. Don't forget your deck chairs and some sunscreen!
